Why cydia keeps crashing

Still instantly crashes on launch. Checkra1n still fails to re-install Cydia. Also desperately needs the ability to be deleted from the homescreen. Update: Used 'Restore System' to begin from scratch. Re-jailbroke iPhone SE.

Cydia was crashing on my iPhone X on Back under iOS 6, there were many excellent tweaks that made jailbreaking well worth the effort. Not seeing that under iOS Add a new host. With that file deleted, Cydia will no longer immediately crash on launch. I do not know why that would happen, unless you have previously changed the default iOS password from 'alpine' to something else.

That, or you have not used the settings I previously described. Note that anyone who jailbreaks an iOS device should change the 'root' and 'mobile' passwords from 'alpine' to something else ASAP. Yes, just open that app and Start the jailbreak again. Voila, done! Cydia and all other related apps; pphelper, pdanet… can no longer be activated. By that I mean it appears to load snapping to full screen but then disappears immediately to background, minimized behind the spring board.

It responds similarly if tapped from there to flash to full screen then back to the rear. All I can do is close it at this point. Cannot search or take any action in this condition as they will not come to full screen. Cannot install Eraser or Impactor as Cydia not responding. Alternatively, you can also use ReProvision from Cydia after being jailbroken to solve this resigning issue of unc0ver app itself after every 7 days, instructions for which are as follows:. Jailbreak your device. Install ReProvision. Download the latest version of Unc0ver. Open the file in ReProvision from the share sheet menu. Wait for the install to complete. Continue enjoying unc0ver!
