Anna and Robert fell in love and were married in June of But in the pair were presumed dead in a boat explosion along with Faison.
However, in March of , it was revealed that Anna was alive when her twin sister, Alexandra Marick , brought her home to Pine Valley, having cared for her for years. As chief of police, Anna was responsible for bringing many Pine Valley criminals to justice, but she eventually left for Paris to live with Robin, ordering David to stay away from her.
Anna was stunned to discover Robert very much alive in , mixed up in a jewelry heist with Luke Spe ncer and Holly. She also became the police commissioner, and brought criminals to justice, including Heather Webber, who told her Robin was really alive!
Anna traveled to Switzerland looking for her daughter and was stunned when Duke showed up. Unfortunately, she soon learned that it was really Faison in an elaborate mask trying to seduce her.
Robert helped her expose Faison and locate the real Duke who actually was alive as it turned out. Anna and Duke reconnected and she worked with Robert to locate and free Robin from the Cassadines. Sadly, Duke got mixed up with the mob again and he was killed. Anna took revenge by taking out his shooter, Carlos Rivera , but was haunted by guilt and soon came to suspect something was odd about the case.
She was surprised to meet Dr. She was intrigued by Valentin Cassadine , feeling that they shared a connection. Eventually, he revealed that they were at the training academy together, but she had rejected his advances and even ordered his assassination!
Anna suffered migraines and was ultimately diagnosed with polycythemia vera, a type of blood cancer. As Anna put her life back together again, Faison made another return appearance, but was killed by Peter August. After enlisting Dr. She stood by while he had a quick fling with Alexis, but eventually, Anna and Finn admitted how they felt and have started a real relationship.
Duke struggled to keep his mob involvement a secret, but when Victor Jerome's son Julian took a bullet meant for Duke, he made a deathbed request for Duke to help his father legitimize the mob, and a grieving Victor intended to hold Duke to that promise.
Meanwhile, Victor's daughter Olivia Jerome became attracted to Duke. Olivia was obsessed with ruling the mob and ordered the hit on her brother Julian. When Olivia realized that she couldn't lure Duke away from his pregnant wife Anna, she decided to kill him instead. Anna became her unintended victim however, when she was caught in an elevator rigged crash, set by Olivia. Anna was rushed to General Hospital , but she ended up miscarrying her and Duke's child due to the fall.
Olivia was later gunned down in her hotel suite and when the police arrived on the scene, the found Anna with a gun, standing over Olivia's body. Olivia went into a coma and Anna was charged with attempted murder. However the charges against Anna were false and the real killer turned out to be Dino, Olivia's one-time henchman and the illegitimate son of Victor Jerome.
When Olivia woke up and recovered from her injuries, she was shipped off to a mental institution. Anna was overjoyed when Olivia was found guilty of mob activities and shipped off to a mental institution. Olivia escaped several times in the future, but her reign of terror against Duke and Anna was finally over.
Sadly though, Anna's marriage was also over. After Duke testified against the mob, his life and the lives of his loves ones were put in danger. Fearing that Anna and her daughter Robin Scorpio 's lives were in danger, Duke sacrificed himself and faked his death in a warehouse explosion, entering the Witness Protection program.
After hearing of Victor Jerome's death, Duke thought that it would now be safe for him to live back on the outside world. However, what Duke didn't know was that Victor's not-so-dead son Julian, was alive and hell-bent on getting revenge for his father. The Jerome crime family , that had been weakened by the death of their boss Victor re-grouped under the command of his son Julian.
Julian had two main objectives; to neutralize his dangerous sister Olivia and to see Duke Lavery truly dead. Julian planned to kill Duke and frame his sister Olivia for the crime. Thinking it was safe, Duke finally returned to Port Charles with a new face, a new name and no Scottish accent.
In , Duke's stepdaughter, Robin , seemingly dies in a lab explosion at General Hospital. She is later revealed to be alive, however. Ewen Keenan had orchestrated her "death" on the orders of Jerry Jacks , who is also presumed dead. After investigating, Anna doesn't find Robin, but does find a brochure for a facility in Switzerland.
Anna and Luke Spencer go there to look for Robin. They don't find her, but on August 27, a man who looks like Duke with his old face is revealed to be alive, and to have been the one who removed Robin from the Swiss facility.
This man reappears on October 8, with a comatose Robin. He expresses his sorrow at her present condition and promises to reunite her with Anna when the time is right. He then confronts Anna in Port Charles, and she is shocked to see him.
He tells her that he was taken by Jerome's people out of witness protection and thrown into a Turkish prison. A man named Jonathan Paget soon became his cellmate. What Duke didn't know is that Paget was a plant and a mole for Jerome.
Paget's objective was to learn all about Duke's life and go to Port Charles and impersonate him. He tells Anna he finally got out to reunite with his wife.
Their embrace is soon interrupted by Luke Spencer. The man appearing to be Duke is shocked to discover that Anna and Luke are in a relationship and living together. He soon mentions the fact that since he isn't dead, Anna is still his wife. Anna leaves for work promising they will all talk later. He warns Luke that whatever relationship he had with Anna is now over. This man is revealed to be in league with Joe Scully, Jr. In a flashback to December when Bernie Abrahms , Corinthos' private accountant, was shot, the man appearing to be Duke showed up masquerading as a doctor.
He threatened Bernie's family if Bernie did not transfer all of Sonny's assets to Kristina. The man then orders Scully to go to the docks and kill Bernie to prevent him from telling Sonny what they had done the year before. Jason arrives and shoots Joe Jr. Bernie manages to contact Sonny and tell him where he is. Jason runs over to Bernie and tries to help him, but he is suddenly shot from behind. The man appearing to be Duke reveals himself from the darkness, having shot Jason.
He kicks Jason into the harbor below, and shoots Bernie again, killing him. He returns to Anna's hotel room, where he finds Luke and Anna arguing about him. He agrees to a thumbprint exam, and the results come back positive. He's "proven" to be Duke Lavery. This man then visits Anna and tells her that he needs to go to Washington to talk with officials about his "imprisonment.
On November 9, he acts like he is a fellow captive to Robin in her room to try and handle the situation. Robin starts reminiscing about childhood memories with Duke, and she starts throwing incorrect information.
The person with the face, and apparently the fingerprints, of Duke Lavery starts to take off a Duke mask.
Robin is shocked at the real identity of the man. The man that has been running around as Duke is actually Cesar Faison.
The "real" Duke, however, is also revealed to be alive. The "real" Duke is a prisoner in the Swiss mental institution, being held prisoner by Faison as well. On December 12, Faison is unmasked and Duke Lavery is found. Duke Lavery comes back to Port Charles. He is hired by A. Quartermaine to work for ELQ Industries. He steals the key that Tracy locked the pantry's refrigerator with, then he steals the jar of pickle relish.
He takes the pickle relish to Starr's and Michael's son of A. He then goes to Kelly's and talks to Felicia. He and Anna go on a date at the Metro Court. Duke gives Anna an expensive necklace and Duke says that he does have the money to give her a gift. Laura was on the impression that Luke was committed to Anna. She initially thinks that Anna is cheating on Luke, but then realizes that there is another explanation.
Duke pays the bill, but later the waiter says that the money is counterfeit. It's revealed that the money that Duke was given by Tracy Quartermaine to double-cross A. This means that Tracy's down payment was counterfeit.
Anna broke up with Duke because he took Tracy relish and that was breaking the law she felt like he was in the mob again. Doing the Nurse Ball Anna and Duke did Scotland dance after the dance they decide to get back together. The women told him her name was Ava Jerome Duke look shocked Duke told her about crime family name the Jerome's that he use to work for them.
Duke ask her was she member of the family. Ava said no she wasn't member of the family she also said she does not know those people. Ava told him there a lot of people might have last name Jerome.
Duke told her that all of Jerome's are dead. Ava then told Duke to tell A. Carly's friend, Shawn Butler , comes there and convinces Jax, with Robin's help, to give Josslyn back. After Shawn leaves, Sonny shows up in a rage, blaming Jax for Brenda leaving him. Robin begs him to leave, but Sonny instead fires his gun. Robin is injured in the chaos, and tells Jax to leave so he won't get caught. Patrick comes back, and throws Sonny out when he finds out Emma was in the room when Sonny fired his gun.
Robin was furious with Sonny afterwards, and said she was done being his friend because he put her daughter in danger. Sonny later apologized, but Robin felt like it was too little, too late. In October of , Patrick and Robin decide to throw a congratulatory party for Patrick's brother Matt for getting his research published. Unbeknownst to them, Lisa Niles has awoken from her coma, thanks to a drug Anthony Zacchara had her "shot up with".
Lisa, too, boards the boat. Lisa ends up chloroforming Patrick and Robin, and tying them both up, Patrick to a bed, and Robin to a chair. When Robin wakes up, Lisa takes out a syringe and Robin thinks she's going to inject her with something. Instead, Lisa tells her that she wants to inject Patrick with Robin's HIV-infected blood, so that they can truly share everything. Robin, however, unties herself and fights off Lisa. Later, Robin meets Lisa on the deck and they struggle again.
Robin is knocked out when she is thrown against a ladder, and then Lisa turns up missing, and eventually found dead in the water. A murder investigation then ensues. In December of , Robin still has the wound from when Sonny shot his gun in her house months before. She receives lab test results that she had done on herself in secret. She keeps the results to herself. On December 13 and 14, Robin asks Jason to help her disappear. She tells him that her HIV medication hasn't worked in months. She also says that she is pretty sure Lisa had replaced her meds with placebos, and even though she had gone back on her meds, it was too late, and she has become resistant to them.
She wants to spend one last Christmas with Patrick and Emma, and then leave so that they don't watch her slowly die like she did Stone. Jason refuses to help her in this way, instead advising her to tell Patrick what's going on.
Robin returns from Seattle and comes clean with Patrick. She tells him the truth about her illness. She told him that she was put on a new protocol and now all they had to do, is wait to see if it takes.
Robin's test results returned and they learned that her new HIV protocol was working. In celebration of the good news, Patrick, Robin and Emma took a trip out to see the plot of land where they would build their dream home in the future.
Anna, Robin, Patrick, and Emma all had a joyous reunion. Robin begins working on a drug protocol to save Jason, who is suffering from an inoperable cerebral edema.
On February 20, there is a gas leak in Robin's lab, and Patrick gets trapped inside. Robin returns to the lab to find Patrick passed out on the floor. She gets him out of the lab in time before he dies, but Robin remembers that she forgot Jason's medicine and goes back in to get it.
The doors lock and Robin is locked inside. Patrick tries everything he can to save her, but it is too late. Her last words before she dies are, "You and Emma are my whole life; you're in my heart, always. On March 26, it is shown that Robin alive, and being held in an initially undisclosed location.
The end of the episode reveals that Dr. Keenan is holding Robin hostage and forcing her to undergo therapy at Ferncliff where Heather Webber was.
Later, it is revealed that Dr. Keenan is working for Jerry Jacks. Jerry, in turn, is working for Cesar Faison. She goes looking for Robin but before she could find her Dr. Keenan secretly moves Robin and gives her to Liesl Obrecht to be transferred to a mental institution in Switzerland.
In September, Robin is seen at mental institution in Switzerland. On November 6, , Robin is seen talking to Dr. Liesl Obrecht , Duke Lavery 's associate and knocking her out. She finds a phone and calls Patrick's home phone and her daughter, Emma, picks up.
She tells her to put her daddy on the phone but before she can the doctor takes the phone away from Robin. Later, "Duke" arrives in Robin's room. Robin reminisces with him, but when he is hazy on the details of memories Duke should know, Robin is suspicious. The man then pulls of a mask, and reveals that he is actually Cesar Faison. Faison is actually the one behind her fake death and kidnapping of Robin.
In December, Anna learns that Faison was masquerading as Duke and she goes to the mental facility to look for Duke. She starts checking the rooms and finds Duke. Duke and Anna talk, while Robert decides to leave the room.
Robert hears screams and tries to find where the screams are coming from. Robert finds the room where Dr. Obrecht is trying to inject Robin, but instead injects Robert. Duke and Anna find Robert where he tries to tell them about Robin but fails after Faison is arrested by Interpol. Obrecht transports Robin to another location where Jerry Jacks is there. Luke shows up at the Cassadine Island laboratory, when Jerry arrives and states that Dr. Obrecht couldn't come up with a cure to the Polonium poisoning that's affecting Jerry, Luke, and Sean Donely.
Obrecht found a better doctor to make a cure. Jerry leaves Luke in the main lab room, while Jerry goes further into the laboratory where we see Robin working on a cure. Robin is bitter about working on a cure, but Jerry tries to convince her to by giving her a video of the Nurses' Ball, re-created in her honor. She sees Dr. Britt Westbourne come onstage while Patrick is paying tribute to Robin, and announcing she's pregnant with Patrick's baby.
Robin takes care of Ben, until Obrecht comes with Faison, and reveals that they are Britt's parents, claiming their grandson. Robin finds a cure for Jerry but Tracy Quartermaine forces him to give it to Luke. Jerry then tells Robin to make another cure or he will die and so will she. After he leaves, Robin uses Jerry's phone to call Patrick but the connection is really bad, and she can't get through. Jerry threatens to kill Robin because she didn't save him but she says that she can if she can get the blood of the person who stole the cure.
He ends up finding Robin in the lab, and the two of them escape. Nikolas reveals that Ben isn't Patrick's son. However, Jerry shows up and reveals he trapped Robin's parents in the lab. The group returns to Port Charles to attempt to make a cure from Luke Spencer's blood. Britt takes Ben to get checked out at General Hospital, and finds out Patrick is engaged to his girlfriend Sabrina Santiago.
Robin sneaks out on Halloween in disguise, and sees Patrick, Emma and Sabrina. She returns home, sad to see that her place has been filled by someone else. Robin then tells Faison she thinks Jason would be able to save her, but Faison tells her that he killed Jason the year before, and Robin is heartbroken when she finds a newspaper article that confirms it.
Luke comes to town, and goes to GH to get his blood tested. Robin is able to sneak in and get a sample for testing. While she's there, though, Patrick and Sabrina stop by, and she has to hide. Afterwards, Carlos Rivera , Sabrina's ex-boyfriend, shows up, and Robin tries to cover when he says he recognizes her. Robin tries to create the antidote using Luke's blood, with Britt's help.
Robin is also reunited with the real Duke, having come back to Port Charles, as well. Just as they're about to be declared "man and wife," Emma spots her and runs to her. The entire congregation sees her as well including a very stunned Patrick. Patrick goes to her and she explains what happened. Robin tells him that he needs to go sort things out with Sabrina. Robin is upset when Patrick says he didn't break up with Sabrina, and when he asks her to come home, she refuses and goes to stay with Anna instead.
Robin visits her memorial site at the cemetery, and ends up finding Maxie visiting Georgie's grave. She sees that Maxie is about to swallow pills to kill herself, and tries to talk her down. Maxie doesn't believe Robin is real, and is a ghostly presence. Robin slaps her to get her to listen, and Maxie realizes Robin is alive, and they reunite.
Robin listens as Maxie tells her about how she lost custody of her daughter, Georgie , because she was deemed an unfit mother, which led to her becoming depressed and suicidal.
Robin is able to convince Maxie to stay alive. Felix, though, tells Patrick that Sabrina didn't want to tell him because he's back with Robin. Patrick leaves to talk to Sabrina, and Robin worries she might lose Patrick because of the baby. However, Patrick comes back and tells Robin the baby is Carlos', not his.
Robin's relief is short-lived when she finds out Obrecht is the new chief of staff at GH after making a deal with the WSB. Robin asks Anna, who says she has no idea what information Obrecht traded for her release. They are revealed to be working for Victor Cassadine , Nikolas' great uncle. After Victor leaves, Patrick comes home and tells Robin that Sabrina's baby is actually his because she lied about Carlos being the father.
Though Robin is shocked, she tells Patrick she doesn't blame Sabrina and that he wanted another child, and he's getting one now. Patrick knocks over a table in frustration, and later finds a picture of Jason when he's cleaning up.
He asks Robin about it, who says she just wishes she could have said goodbye. Patrick goes to work the next day, and Victor comes back, showing Robin proof Jason is alive. Robin says she needs time before she makes a decision.
Robin takes Emma out to the park, and meets Danny Morgan , Jason's son. After this meeting, Robin tells Victor she'll take the offer to help him out.
When Patrick comes home, she says she's leaving Port Charles to go to Africa for volunteer work. Patrick is shocked she'd leave so soon, and she later claims she's trying to avoid Obrecht.
When Patrick says he and Emma will come with her, and Robin refuses, Patrick keeps pressing about the real reason she's going. She finally tells him about Victor and Jason. Patrick is angry she'd leave her family. Robin says she wants to bring back Jason to his family because he would do the same for her, but Patrick is still upset about her leaving.
The next day, Patrick tells Robin they should tell her mother about this, but Victor later comes by and reveals he knows about Robin telling Patrick, and their plan to tell Anna.
He tells Robin that if Anna finds out, she'll lose Jason. When Emma comes home with Mac, Robin tells both of them she's leaving town to go to Africa on volunteer work. Emma is hurt by this, and runs to her room, angry. Mac says he's shocked, but will support Robin's decision. She also confirms that Jason is alive. He was there with Sam Morgan looking for answers on a former patient, Nina Clay. Robin tells him that she can't leave the clinic. Patrick then see a cryogenic chamber, and he asks if Jason is in there.
Robin says that it is Stavros Cassadine, and that Jason is not there. She tells Patrick that Jason's organs were failing, and he soon died. Patrick then leaves after Robin says her work is more important that her family but not before telling her that he is filing for divorce. Victor Cassadine later comes in the lab on August 7, He tells Robin that he hopes Patrick doesn't find out about Jason.
It is confirmed that Jason indeed alive, and Robin lied to Patrick. Victor reveals he asked Rafe Kovich, Jr. The accident ultimately led to the death of Patrick's son, Gabriel. Robin is later seen talking to Emma. Victor comes back and taunts Robin about the fact he could cause another accident for Patrick and Emma. He tells her to focus on Helena, Stavros and Jason. Robin tells Victor that she had a breakthrough in her protocol.
He wants to try it on Jason but she wants to try it on Stavros or Helena first. Victor injects Jason with the protocol while his men hold Robin back. It seems Jason is dead but he comes back as Robin is dragged out of the room. It is later revealed that Victor handcuffed her to a pole. Jason finds her and uses a gun to shoot the chain and free her.
They then embraced and Jason reveals that he can't talk. They prepare to leave the clinic, but they are stopped by Helena Cassadine. Helena says she has big plans for Jason and Robin, and she tries to take them, but Jason kills Helena's goons and they escape the clinic just before it blows up. Jason and Robin steal a car and get on the road back to Port Charles.
Robin fills Jason in on some things, including telling Jason that Danny is his biological son. When they near Port Charles, Robin decides it would be too dangerous to their families to go straight home, because Helena could still be on their tail. Robin runs into Helena instead.
Helena forces Robin to get on Skype and tell Patrick and Anna that she is moving to Paris to find herself. Helena tells Robin that she has big plans for her and they will be heading to Paris, so Robin can email Patrick divorce papers from there, like she said she would on Skype.
In November of , it is revealed that someone is holding Robin captive at a new Crichton-Clark. Patrick contacts Robin on his phone for forgotten reasons. Luckily she had hers so she did answer. But Robin's unnamed captor and the guard watching her doesn't allow unsupervised phone calls, so as punishment they torture her by showing her live stream footage on the guard's iPad of Emma being approached by a woman she doesn't know, claiming to have lost get puppy and asking for her help recovering it.
Emma had a sympathetic heart but refuses. Angered the woman tries to snatch Emma, who bites her and escapes. The guard warns Robin that even though her daughter was lucky enough to escape how she did they don't want to traumatize her again so stop making unauthorized phone calls! In December, her captor is revealed to be Jerry Jacks who is yet again holding Robin captive for her to create a cure for Helena's illness. But when Helena died before she can finish the cure, a dismayed and annoyed Jerry deems Robin to be useless to him and the Cassadine family and thus wants her to die, until she convinces him that she made a breakthrough with her research in saving the sick and possibly reviving the dead, and for her to finish it she'll need more time.
Jerry agrees, giving Robin exactly 48 hours to either finish it up completely or die. Emma calls Robin who is sad that Sam left their family. Unfortunately Jerry has her phone and doesn't let the call last real long.
Something doesn't add up and so Patrick and Emma become suspicious that Robin is in danger so they fly out to London to the phony address that was given to them, which is revealed to be an antique shop.
A woman comes to their hotel room explaining that they have the wrong address and claims to know nothing about Robin or her captivity. When Emma takes a liking to the woman's necklace, Patrick noticed that it's a Cassadine gem, which gives them the hint that the Cassadines are involved with her captivity and she may be in their mansion on their island again. Anna and Patrick meet Robert Scorpio at the Cassadine mansion.
After the 48 hours are up, Jerry checks on Robin once more. She had still not finished but has made significant progress. Robin then asks for more time but this time he refuses and tells the guard outside to kill her. As the guard converges to do so, Robin finds out that the guard is a fan of opera music and use that to try and talk the guard into going against Jerry's harsh orders to kill her. On December 17, the guard takes Robin out of the room not long before Anna, Robert, and Patrick who have arrived at Cassadine Island looking for Robin arrive at that Crichton-Clark location and bust into that room finding Jerry, where they demand to know what he did to Robin.
He announces she's dead! On January 5, Robin asks Obrecht for her job back, but refuses to take a paycut and without the opportunity for research. Robin and Patrick decide to leave town and start over, after remarrying on January 7, surrounded by their friends and family. Robin returned to town in May , for the Nurses Ball.
She gave a heartfelt speech about the importance of the Nurses Ball, and thanked everyone for raising so much money. Before she left, she met Griffin Munro , Duke's long lost son.
In December , Robin returned for what was supposed to be Nathan and Maxie's wedding as the wedding didn't happen. Robin was present for the actual wedding on January 17, On February 24, , Robin shares with her mother, Anna Devane , that she and Patrick are expecting their second child. Anna was the first person they told because they wanted to be absolutely sure before sharing their news.
Anna is thrilled for her daughter and their entire family. Robin encourages Anna to fight her illness, so that she can be there for her new grandchild, Baby Drake. Anna excitedly asks Robin if she knows the sex of the baby and suggests the name, Robert, as a first or middle name if the baby is a boy. While pregnant, Robin is kidnapped and held hostage by a crazed Olivia Jerome and then was forced at gunpoint to stand on a pressure plate land mine in an elevator but " Jason " offered to take a reluctant Robin's place and then insisted after finding out that she was pregnant and after some arguing, she eventually relented and he helped her off the of the pressure plate.
She is surprised because he looks exactly like Jason Morgan used to look before the accident in When "Patient 6" says that her believing him would be "icing on the cake," Robin remembers that she told him that same phrase and said it was better than the best, which leads to her accepting "Patient 6" as Jason.
Robin visits Elizabeth at her house and sees the other Jason there. She apologized to "Jason" and says that she thought he was Jason but after seeing "Patient 6" she believes that he Patient 6 is Jason. Robin agrees that he saved her life but she says he's not Jason. Robin assured him that he and his brother are twins, that he is the son of Susan Moore and Alan Quartermaine and he is Scout 's father. On December 4, Elizabeth tells Robin that the man with Jason's old face was the real Jason, and that Sam's husband - the man who everyone thought was Jason - was actually Jason's twin brother, Chief Andrew Cain.
She left town soon after, but returned in a few months for the Nurses Ball with Emma where unbeknownst to her she met her long-lost cousin Henrik Faison under his new name, Peter August. On June 6, Robin learns from Anna that Peter is her half-brother and is upset with Anna for not telling her. General Hospital. General Hospital: Night Shift. The Secret Life of Damian Spinelli.
